Best Nail Polish for $0.99!!!!!

Hey Beauty Lovers,

So I walked into my local Walgreens and passed by the Wet N Wild section. Some of their products were on sale for .99 cents! I decided to grab some of their NEW Megalast nail polishes (eventhough I dont need anymore) and I am SO HAPPY that I did. I might have to go back for more!
The color on the LEFT is what I used on my accent nail which is 207B Bite the Bullet
The color to the RIGHT is what I used as the main color which is 206C Undercover
I have never used WNW nail polish before and I was so surprised at the quality. I seriously only put one coat of the WNW nail polish on each of my nails along with a clear coat and that is all I needed. The color section is great! I only grabbed two colors but there has to be over 12 different new colors to choose. The color selection ranges from biege to a dark red and purple. I will have to swing by my Walgreens ASAP and grab some more before everyone realizes how great they are.

I did get them on sale for $0.99 each which is half off the regular price of $1.99. But honestly these babies are still worth the $1.99!!!! I have yet to find such quality in a nail polish for under $2! Grab one if you can.. I know you will fall in love and go back for more.
GREAT POLISH + GREAT PRICE= ONE HAPPY SHOPPER who wants to share this product with the world!!!!!

Perfect Nail Polish for Spring

Hey Beauty Lovers....

Yesterday I came home from work and decided that I was in much need of a fresh Mani and Pedi with a nice bright color. I came across my ONLY Sonia Kashuk nail polish in the color Tango Mango. All I can say is WOW! I LOVE IT!!! I have always been a huge fan of orange coral colors, but this color on my nails just makes me happy :) This is the first time I use this brand of nail polish so i can't comment on staying power but as for color it is nice and BRIGHT! Exactly what I was looking for and perfect for the season we are in :)

Sonia Kashuk Tango Mango and all her other name polish colors can only be found at Target. They range for about $5 each and I am considering picking up some more of these beautiful colors.

Fresh Green Waters

Hello Beauty Lovers,

Quick FOTD that I did for St.Patty's...I know this posting comes to you a day late but I was crazy busy yesterday. I used a MAC Duo named Fresh Green Waters.I purchased it from MAC over a year ago. I am not sure if it is still available to buy, but honestly any two greens (one Lime and one a bit darker green with black) will makes this look come to life :)

I started by using Urban Decay's primer potion and NYX jumbo pencil in NYX to prime my lids. I applied the Lime green all over the lid and the darker green in the crease. After I used MAC fluidline in Rich Ground to line my eyes and made a slight wing. I love how this color looks with the green :) Stila Kajal eyeliner in Topaz for my waterline rather then using a black. This will make my eyes look bigger. I primed my eyelashes with Urban Decay's eyelash primer and then gave my lashes two coats of CoverGirl Volume Exact mascara. This look is nothing to dramatic... it is actually very wearable and that is why I wore for this occasion because St. Patty's was on a Saturday and I was at the County Fair :) (YES IS WORE THIS LOOK TO THE COUNTY FAIR.....LOL).

Check out my youtube channel to see a tutorial on this look....

Thank you watching everyone :)

50% off Rimmel HAUL at Walgreens

Hello Beauty Lovers,

So as many of you make-up lovers probably know, Walgreens had 50% off all Rimmel products last week. I quickly headed out to my local Walgreens and snatched up a couple things before I went on my 6 month no buy that started March 1 :)

To be honest, I specifically went for the Rimmel Scandel Eyes Mascara which was just recently released. I scored it for $3.49 :) I wanted it for volume and was curious to see how the huge brush works. I havent used this mascara yet because I only keep one mascara open at a time and I am trying to finish up my Maybelline mascara. Stay tuned for a review on this mascara coming up really soon.

While I was snooping around the Rimmel section I saw the last two shades they had left of the Kate Moss lipsticks that are pretty new to the brand as well.

The lipstick on the left is number 14 and the one on the right is 04
For some odd reason the Kate Moss lipsticks do not have a name, they are identified by color only.

I would have to say that lipstick 14 (picture and swatch above) is my favorite of the two. It is a nude pink color. It does have a slight sheen to it but for the most part it is matte. Compared to other Rimmel lipsticks I feel that this one is a bit drying, so make sure you moisturize your lips before you apply it. Lasting power is good, it lasted about 5-6 hours for me.

Lipstick 04 (picture and swatch above) is different and that is why i picked it up. This is my first purple plum color lipstick. I havent worn this shade yet do to it's pigmentation. This lipstick comes off VERY dark and I am not sure just yet how I will wear it. I am not returning it because I want to use it in the near future. My swatch is very light but on the lips it comes off dark with a light sheen. I might have to put this on with a light hand..LOL

I paid $2.64 for each lipstick
My grand total for the mascara and two lipsticks was... $6.56
I was happy about that!!!!

Do any of you ladies have this mascara or these lipsticks? What are your thoughts on them? Did any of you get your hands on the 50% off Rimmel products? If yes, what did you get?

Revlon Lip Butters

Hello Beauty Lovers...

I have been really using and enjoying my Revlon Lip Butter for the past two weeks. They go  on so smooth and have such rich pigmentation. When I first heard about them I thought that maybe they might feel good and moisturize the lips, but that the color that they would give off would be light and "barely there."I was completely wrong and I am glad I was :)

I currently own four from the entire collection:

Left to right: Tutti Frutti, Red Velvet, Berry Smoothie, and Peach Parfait

Tutti Frutti: A rich orange with no shimmer
Red Velvet: A deep dark red with no shimmer
Berry Smoothie: A medium tone pink ... The perfect kind of wearable pink :)
Peach Parfait: (MY FAVE) A light peach color. Out of the four it has the lightest color payoff but goes with any look. It has lots of shimmer.

They are a combination of a tinted balm and a lipstick. I purchased mine at CVS Pharmacy and Target but they sell them just about everywhere Revlon products are sold. They range between $6.00 and $8.00. Once you get your hands on one of these babies you will want MORE and MORE :) Try to get one of those BOGO deals at your local drugstore that way you can save $$$ and get more lip butters. Which one is your favorite?

Smashbox Photo Op Mega Palette

Hello Beauty Lovers....
I wanted to share my thoughts on my new love...
The Smashbox Photo Op Mega Palette!!!
I recently purchased this new palette from QVC for $94.00. After taxes and shipping/handling my grand total was about $106.00. I know, I know, I know what you are thinking; that price is kind of steep for a eyeshadow palette, but it is totally worth it. The value of this palette is way over $500!!!!

The packaging is perfect. It folds into a convenient size case that can be used for travel. The red color case makes me love it even more since red is my favorite color.

This amazing palette includes the following:
  • 56 Photo-Op eyeshadow colors that are conveniently designed in trios that work extremely well together. (Makes putting your eyeshadow on a no brainer)
  • 4 Eyebrow powders and a brow wax
  • 2 Blushes
  • 3 Highlighters
  • 4 Lip glosses
  • 8 Cream liners

All of these eyeshadows have great color payoff and with a good primer your eyeshadow will last ALL DAY! What I like the most is the fact that all these colors are good enough to wear for everyday looks and great to use for work. No matter what trio I choose, my eye look leaves me happy. The blush, eye cream liners, lipglosses, highlighters, and brow powders are a spectacular addition to the palette. The eyshadows alone have a value over $300. With all the other additons the value increases to over $500!!! WOW!!!

Check out my video on this product....

OVERALL THIS PALETTE GETS 5 out of 5 STARS!!!!!
